Variables

सी प्रोगा्रमिंग भाषा में चर ¼ Variable½  एक ऐसा टोकन है जो प्रोगा्रम रन ¼Run½  होने के दौरान स्वयं के मान को  परिवर्तित ¼ change½  कर सकता है।

1. चर( Variable) को परिभाषित करना
चर (Variable) को परिभाषित करने के लिये प्रोगा्रमर को उसका डेटा टाईप एवं चर (Variable) नाम बताना होता है। चर (Variable) को दो प्रकार से परिभाषित किया जा सकता है।

प्रकार-1ः प्रकार-1 में डेटा टाईप एवं चर (Variable) का नाम परिभाषित किया जाता है इसमें किसी प्रकार की कोई डिफाल्ट मान नही दिया जा सकता है।
   datatype    variable_name;     

प्रकार-2ः प्रकार-2 में डेटा टाईप, चर (Variable) का नाम एवं  डिफाल्ट मान भी दिया जाता है।
   datatype     variable_name  = value;    

2. चर( टंतपंइसम) का प्रोगा्रम
जब प्रोगा्रमर प्रोगा्रम चर (Variable) को परिभाषित (डिफाईन) करता है तो निम्न प्रकार से करता है

3. Variable Memory Structure

जैसा कि उपरोक्त प्रोगा्रम में बताया गया है। जब हम चर (टंतपंइसम) को परिभाषित ( डिफाईन) करते हैं तो मेंमेारी में निम्न प्रकार से डेटा स्टोर किया जाता है । चर (टंतपंइसम) को परिभाषित करने पर मेमोरी की स्थिति निम्न होती है।
